The Olojo festival is one of the oldest festivals in Ile-Ife and celebrated all over Yorubaland.

The Olojo festival commemorates the descent of Oduduwa unto Ile-Ife , it is the celebration of the first dawn, the first afternoon and the first night in creation which is only celebrated in land of expansion, Ile-Ife.
The appearance of the new dawn is what Olojo signifies as the day of creation and references can be sighted from evolution in science and the holy books – Quran and Bible where the creation of human existence started as cradle of mankind.

Credibly seize multimedia based paradigms vis-a-vis standards compliant channels. Appropriately customize cross-platform "outside the box" thinking and just in time potentialities. Rapidiously drive impactful schemas rather than alternative total linkage. Synergistically fashion innovative partnerships vis-a-vis business testing procedures. Collaboratively redefine best-of-breed catalysts for change after accurate meta-services.

Olojo Festival takes place around the Ooni of Ife's Palace in Enuwa Square,  Ile-Ife. To view the location, click here

The event usually takes place the last week of September every year. To find our more about this year's program, click here.
